Water Committee
 
The Water Committee is responsible for the maintenance of a safe and reliable water supply.
Duties include maintenance of pumps, switches, valves and other water related equipment.
The committee is also tasked with providing adequate chlorination and water quality testing as required by La Plata County code. An additional responsibility is to read all community water meters as required by the Tiered Water System.

Stuart Graber's 5/29/25 statement:  "Please see the attached report on the Los Ranchitos Water System.  The report done by Wright Water Engineers in 2018 has a lot of good information on the structure of our water distribution system.  Most of the recommendations have been done or are currently being worked on.  At this point there is no need change the distribution system as it relates to the existing pressure zones.  The current system works and the additional cost to modify the current system would be pretty high."
